How to Make Mummy Hot Dogs with
   Your Kids for Halloween

When my boys were young aspiring chefs, it was hard to find recipes that weren't overly complicated and didn't require loads of ingredients. Mummy Hot Dogs are ideal because they're so easy to make and only require three ingredients. Yes! Plus, they turn out super adorable -- perfect for a quick dinner, Halloween party, or play date.

1) Gather the ingredients: hot dogs, I can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls, mustard. Have toothpicks on hand to make mustard eyes on the mummy.

2) Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
3) Open the can of crescent dinner rolls. Unroll and cut them on the perforated edges.
4) Cut them into thin strips.
5) Take strips and wrap them around the hot dog like a mummy. Leave an opening where you can place the mustard eyes!
6) Bake on cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
7) Make eyes by dipping a toothpick in the mustard and placing it on the mummy. Enjoy!
