How to Make "Snowman Soup" With Your Kids to Give as Christmas Gifts

We parents often get so caught up in finding the perfect presents for our kids at Christmas that we forget one important fact: young children enjoy giving gifts as much as they enjoy receiving them! When my sons were little, we started the tradition of making and giving Snowman Soup to their friends and teachers at preschool, the children's librarian, the mailman, and our neighbors. Everybody loved it! Best of all, it's one of those rare presents that kids can actually make by themselves with just a little help from mom or dad. So let's warm some bodies and hearts by giving away some Snowman Soup!

1. Gather what you need: powdered hot cocoa, chocolate chips, marshmallows, candy canes, and Ziploc bags.

2. Have your child put cocoa, chocolate chips, marshmallows, and a candy cane in each Ziploc bag.

 3. Staple the Snowman Soup poem to the Ziploc bag. Give to family and friends!

This jolly little snowman will make you smile during the winter holidays. He's a cuddly little guy who will melt your child's heart.
